Taco Night Made Easy: Quick and Tasty Recipe for a Fun-filled Evening

Have you ever noticed how food tastes better in a beautiful kitchen? It's true! There's something about a well-stocked kitchen with all the cooking essentials that makes mealtime more enjoyable.

When my family and I travel and book an Airbnb, we always look for a kitchen with everything we need to prepare our favorite meals. We love to gather around the kitchen, chat, and cook together. It's a great way to spend time together and create memories.

One of our all-time favorite meals to make is tacos. This meal is affordable, filling, and quick to put together. Plus, it's a lot of fun because everyone can choose their toppings and create personalized tacos. We usually go for the classic toppings like shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, cheese, and sour cream. But sometimes, we mix it up with some fresh cilantro, diced avocado, or sliced jalapenos.

If you're looking for an easy, crowd-pleasing meal to make on vacation (or even for a family+ friends night!), tacos are a great option. What's your favorite meal to make either at home or when you are on vacation?

Taco Board

Serves 3-4

Prep Time: 20 minutes

Total Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

1 lb. lean ground beef, turkey, chicken or pork

1 packet taco seasoning (choose your favorite brand)

3 green onions, thinly sliced

1 medium red onion, diced

3 medium tomatoes, diced

1 bell pepper (any color you like), diced

1 avocado, thinly sliced

For Serving

Shredded iceberg lettuce

Shredded cheddar

Corn tortillas for serving

Sour cream for serving

Salsa or pico de gallo, for serving

Cilantro, for serving

Instructions

First, brown the ground beef in a large frying pan over medium-high heat. Once it's browned, drain the fat from the pan. Then, add the taco seasoning and the right amount of water according to the instructions on the packet.

Next, warm up the tortillas until they are pliable. You can do this by heating them in the microwave or oven. After they are warmed, wrap them in a kitchen towel to keep them warm.

To serve, arrange all the toppings on a board, platter, or a combination of bowls and plates.

Once you have all your toppings ready, fill the tortillas with the beef and whichever toppings you like.

Finally, enjoy your delicious tacos!
