There’s something magical about Page, Arizona. Its beautiful red rock formations feel like art.
No matter if you're road-tripping through the Southwest or planning a quick weekend escape, this one-day itinerary in Page, AZ offers the perfect mix of adventure, rest, and a touch of design inspo.
☀️ Morning: Antelope Canyon Adventure
Start your day with one of the most unforgettable experiences in the Southwest: a guided tour of Antelope Canyon.
Split into Upper and Lower Canyons, both offer something different—narrow sandstone passageways carved by water, glowing in golden light and fiery reds.
Make sure to book your tour ahead of time with a Navajo guide (required for entry). We toured using Ken’s Tour and it was the best.
We had a young local who shared not only the geological beauty, but the deep cultural connection to the land. Watching my boys listen, ask questions, and learn was a favorite moment, one of those memories that sticks.
Tips for visiting:
🛋️ Afternoon: A Midday Reset at a Dreamy Airbnb
After exploring, retreat back to your Airbnb in Page.
This Airbnb was designed as a love letter to the Southwest: cactus green and terracotta tones layered against warm neutrals, woven textures, and curated art that tips its hat to the local cowboy culture without going full theme.
It’s the kind of space that makes you want to slow down—barefoot, reading in a sun-drenched nook, maybe flipping through the design books left thoughtfully on the coffee table.
Need to rest your feet? Pour a cold drink, and head out to the backyard where the plush chairs and amazing views are waiting for you.. And don't forget to let the golden Arizona light do its thing.

📸 Golden Hour: Explore or Capture the View
If you’re feeling recharged, head out for a scenic drive or even a short hike around Horseshoe Bend—it’s less than 15 minutes away.
Or keep it low-key and capture the light right from the Airbnb. The textures and colors photograph beautifully, especially during golden hour.

I found myself drawn to every little corner—the cactus in the hallway, the terracotta ceiling, the artwork quietly telling the story of the land .

🍻 Evening: Dinner + Drinks at Grand Canyon Brewery
Wrap up the day with dinner and drinks at Grand Canyon Brewery, a local gem with desert flair and plenty of cozy charm.
Their handcrafted beers and fun seasonal cocktails [prickly pear mojito! yes please! ] hit the spot after a long day of exploring.
We shared a pretzel, fried pickles, and chatted about the day—our favorite part of any trip.

What we loved:
The classic burger burger and of course fried pickles!!
Local beer flight (if you’re indecisive like me)
Laid-back vibe with indoor and patio seating
✨ Final Thoughts:
One day in Page can hold so much—cultural richness, natural beauty, slow moments, and meaningful connections. Whether you're there for a hike, to unwind, or just breathe in the desert air, this little town offers a beautiful balance of all three!
Looking to make it a weekend?
There’s more to explore—slot canyons, Lake Powell, and backroads that look like movie sets.
